This year, IPMA proudly supported the historic Rallye Graciosa in Brazil for the very first time – both as a sponsor and through the active involvement of our team. Our colleague Paulo Lemos, a former rally champion in Brazil and Latin America, had the honor of opening the 38th edition of the rally in the official “0 car.”
He was joined by our colleague Olliver Reyna, former factory driver for Volkswagen in Mexico. Paulo and Olliver each hold different management roles and are jointly responsible for the operations of our Brazilian subsidiary IPM do Brasil.
The Rallye Graciosa is one of the oldest rally events in the country and takes place in the state of Paraná, featuring scenic yet highly technical routes including the challenging Serra da Graciosa. The course offers a mix of asphalt and cobblestone, climbing up to 900 m in elevation – a true test of skill and engineering.
Part of both the Brazilian Rally Championship and the Paraná State Championship, the 2025 edition drew more than 50 competitors. While some stages, such as SS Graciosa, had to be canceled due to weather conditions, the event still delivered impressive and spectator-friendly rally action.
IPM do Brasil supports automotive customers (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, toolmakers, etc.) throughout Brazil and Latin America in areas such as press shop, BIW, toolmaking, and logistics.
By participating in the rally, we demonstrate our commitment to precision, teamwork, and technical excellence – values that matter both in motorsport and industrial production.
We had previously supported the Rallye das Praias, making this latest engagement a continuation of our passion for performance under demanding conditions.
A big thank you to Paulo, Olliver for their dedication – both on and off the track.
